This evening I was out with Grady, Duncan, Lily, and Dad. We decided to just go Speck fishing and was it ever a god idea. We bomb at our first two stops but quickly erased the bad memories once we got stop number three. We caught one and then proceeded to lose 4 and then it was on. I have no idea how many Specks we caught this evening as we had multiple hook-ups going on at a time. The gang keep ten to feed the house and threw the rest back to catch another day. It was the perfect evening to be out fishing, the Pond was on fire and we didn't have to worry about any other boat traffic or wakes while we fished. Duncan and Lily you did awesome out there this evening. Thanks for making my job so easy for me..

This afternoon I was out with Rich, Ben, Andy, Frank, and Donald. We started out Speckled Trout fishing but were only able to muster up one so we moved on and started Flounder fishing but that was slow as well for us. We caught some but they were on the short side. We caught fish throughout the trip and had a great time keeping Andy man contained. Thanks guys.

This morning I was out with Nate, Noel, Kayla, Gisel, JC, and Mike for some great family fishing. We started out with some Piggies and then moved on to the next location to find more Piggies, Croakers and Sea mullet. After that were able to find some Flounder but they just weren't the right size for us. We continued to catch fish throughout the morning including some nice Grey Trout and Spot to finish off the day. Thanks alot guys and Elle, I hope your hand heals quickly for ya.

This morning I was out with Cameron, Daniel, Nathan, Denny, and DJ. We decided to do something different today which paid off for us. We had great weather and great fishing as well. We were catching fish just about every cast it seemed there for awhile. The Black Sea Bass were loaded up but none of them were quite the right size for us. We had them up to 11" and they have to be 12" but we had a blast catching them. Along with them we were able to catch some really nice sized Piggies which put a great fight for the boys along with the Blues. We also had two nice Triple Tails to throw in the mix today along with an 19" Flounder and two Trigger fish. Thanks for the request guys it worked out great for us. Hope to see you again next year.

This morning I was out Colin, Dave, Mary, and Alissa. We had some wonderful weather as the clouds kept the sun hidden away for most of the trip. We started out fishing for Speckled Trout first thing, the bite was a little slow but we managed to boat a handful of them. Today was a first for Alissa so it always cool to catch a variety of fish for a first timer. She did a great job and became quite the little fisherwomen before the trip was over. We moved on to the Flounder next which we caught right many of, just no keepers. After that we just went fun fishing and ended up catching, Trout, Flounder, Spot, Piggies, and Pompano to finish off the day. thanks guys, I had a blast out there today.

I have fallen behind on my reports lately as I have somehow written names down on the wrong dates. So instead of trying to get them all in order I am going to post the pics and a report. The Speckled Trout fishing has been on and off for the last week. It seems that one day it is hot and the next is not, but we always seem to squeak out 5 to 10 even on a a bad day. It's a grind but they are there as long as you have the patience for them. The Flounder bite has been pretty good but finder the keepers is the hard part of that deal. We have been catching here and there lately which is a good thing. The bottom fishing has been off the hook for the Kids. They have been catching Flounder, Specks, Grey Trout, Croakers, Piggies, Black Sea Bass, Blues, Spot, Puffer Fish, Lizard Fish, Pin Fish, and many more. Overall the fishing has been your typical summer pattern throwing a few surprises here and there. I want to thank all of you that have fished with me the past week and I do apologize for not having a detailed report for each trip. Thanks everyone..

This morning I had Jason and his family out for a little fishing adventure. Little Man who was badder than Jackie Chan just wanted to catch fish, so that is what we did. We caught a little bit of everything throughout the morning as we moved around. We had a pretty good Flounder bite going on for awhile. After that died off we went bottom fishing and had pretty good success at that as well. Thanks guys.

This evening I was out with Becca, Kenzie, Tye, and Pam for a wonderful evening of family fun fishing. Tye had told me just wanted his girls to catch fish and have a good time and that is exactly what we did. I had returned to my Flounder hole only to find it covered in grass so we had to improvise. We tried fishing a few spots close to the hole but they were covered up in grass as well so moved on. We got away from the grass and caught more fish than I have caught in the last few weeks. We had, Blues, Flounder, Croakers, Spot, Sea Mullet, Piggies, Puffers, Sand Perch and a few others I can't think of right now. We had a surprise showing from the Pelicans today as they decided the boat was great place to drop their bombs, man it was a mess...LOL Glad we can laugh at it now... Had a blast guys.

This afternoon I was out with Frank, Eric, and Rich just to enjoy the good weather and catch some fishies. We started out fishing for Speckled trout which had slowed down a ton since the morning trip. We did manage I think to catch 2 of them which justified us going Flounder fishing. The Flounder must had had the same thoughts as the trout because they didn't want bite either for us. We finally found a honey hole and were able to land a good 25-30 Flounder in about 20 minutes. We didn't have any keepers in there but catching them 2 at a time cast after cast is always fun. Thanks guys for a great trip and good company.

This morning I was out with Bill, Mike, Mike, and Mark to do a little fishing and talk alot of racing. We went looking for some Speckled Trout and we found a few here and there. It felt really good having the first three being keepers for a change. The bite wasn't exactly on fire but we did manage to catch 15 or so on the morning with 6 of them being keepers. It was nice to talk cars today out there while we fished. That made for the peferct morning. Thanks guys.

This morning I was out with Stephen, Steve, and Colleen. We started of Speckled Trout fishing which turned out to be a good idea. We managed to catch a nice handful of them along with a few nice keepers in the mix. Stephen was able to get a few on the popping cork which was cool to see. He was an excited little Man to say the least. We also were able to catch a Flounder and a ton of bottom fish to finish the day off. Nothing better than seeing the kids come out and walk away doing everything on their own. Thanks for coming out today guys.

This afternoon I went out with Caleb, Eli, Beth, and Ray. We started out Speck fishing which was kinda slow for us. We did manage to catch a handful of Specks but were unable to pick up any keepers this afternoon. We then went Flounder fishing and managed a few of them but they as well were on the short side. We then went bottom fishing so the boys could go at it with the fish. They quickly started catching them right up until they decided they wanted to go Hermit Crab hunting. This morning I was out with Kasey, Jason, Jason, Cody, Tyler, and Trevor for some great Brother and Sister fishing. I had to endure all the trash talk from the kids but it was all good..LOL We had a great day on the water as we went looking for some Specks and Flounder. The bite was little slow but we still managed to catch a few keepers and and handful of Flounder with a nice 19" keeper in the mix. I was out this morning Paul, Linda, and Evan once again to catch some Specks and Flounder. I wasn't to sure at first as the water was pretty dirty for us. That didn't seem to matter to Evan though as he put them in the boat. I handed the little man the rod and went about my business and BAM he was hooked with a nice 18"er. The day continued to be great for us as we had 4 keepers and 1 nice Flounder to go along with it. It was great seeing you guys again and thank you Mr. Evan for making my job so enjoyable...

I was out a few days this week as I was off to fish the SKA Kingfish Tourney down in Morehead City. We had a great weekend even though we didn't win. The final results are not posted yet but I know we finished in the top 20 out of 110 boats. It was a tough tourney as there were not many fish caught, so I fell lucky to have been able to boat 4 of them.

This morning I was out with Brandon, Hillary, Keegan, Trevor, and Ryan for some family fun action. We had to fish hard today as there was another crew on another boat trying to beat us. We had a great day out there today as we caught Specks, Flounder, Croakers, Piggies, Sand Perch and Grey Trout finish out the day. You guys were great and I would say we won for the day....LOL

This evening I was out with Rodman Rod, Katilina, Molly, Somara, Jerrod, and Meaghan. We had beautiful weather upon us as we sat out on our adventure. First spot we hit the fish were biting but there was just no size to them so we moved on. As we worked our way around the island we were greeted with a playful school of Dolphin that surfaced and batted their tales for us as we passed by. We eventually go to where we were heading and started catching fish.The croakers were there and chomping with some really nice ones mixed in there with them. We even picked up a nice Spade fish. We moved on from there and went Speck fishing for awhile as well. Thanks guys for a great evening. Somara and Katilina you girls did awesome.

This afternoon I was out with Jack, Ed, Kevin, Ryan, and Aidan. We were out to just catch fish, that was the mission. The bite was slow at our first stop so we moved on and found something that was much more exciting as the fish were chomping. Once we the boys settled in and catching fish it was easy street for Dad and I. LOL The boys caught a little bit of everything including Flounder, Blues, Spot, Croakers, Sand Perch, and so on. This morning I was out with Brett, Alexandra, Michelle, Vicky, Ed, and Claudine for some great family fun fishing. We started out fishing over by the Manteo Waterfront along with a little sight seeing as well as catching some fish. We then headed south and continued our fish catching adventure. Little Miss Alexandra really put it on everyone today as she was just a machine. It didn't matter what rod we handed her, she would catch fish. We caught a little bit of everything today from Flounder to Bluefish. It was great seeing you guys again this year and thank you Alexandra for putting on a clinic for us.

This evening I was out with Angie, Jill, Matt, Rich and Eric once again to catch some Specks. The bite was really slow this afternoon but we did manage to get a few in the boat. Only a couple fished for the Trout and the others bottom fished. We had a great evening to be fishing and had a blast as well. You would have to know the crew to understand. We had some nice Specks, Croakers and some BIG crabs to go along with them. Thanks guys, I'll see ya next year with the munchkins.

This afternoon I was out Liam and Josh for some Father and Son fishing fun. We decided to bottom fish for the afternoon as it was going to keep Liam busy and he wanted to catch alot of them. We were able catch them everywhere we went and each spot got better and better as the afternoon went on. Liam you def. got the fishing thing figured out. Great job out there today.

This morning I was out with Brian, Dale, Kenny, Bob, and Joseph out Speck hunting. We had a few right off the bat and then moved on to try a few other holes. The bite was a little off today but we still managed to catch a nice batch of them. We caught them a few different ways today as we caught them deep and then caught some shallow as well. Along with the Specks we had some Flounder and a Joseph had him an Oyster Cracker. It was great seeing you guys again and thanks for coming back.

This afternoon I was out with Sean, Kurt, Taylor, Jeff, and Troy trying to hide from the wind but we gave up on that and just went head first into it. We decided to just hammer down and find some Speckled Trout for the afternoon. The fishing was really tough this afternoon but we were still able to find a handful of takers on the day. I'm not sure of how many we did catch, I believe 6 or 7 on the day with one nice fat 18 incher to go along with them. We fished hard and it paid off for us. We had a great day out there even though it was rough and hot. Thanks guys for the great company and the life lessons from Mr. Sean.. This morning I was out with Jonalyn, Mark, Tom, Mike, Mikey, and Mo. We started out Speckled Trout fishing but that was little slow for us as we only got 3 of them. Had a great crew on the boat though so we moved on a started looking elsewhere for the day. On this late afternoon I was out with Jpizzle, Owen, Patrick, and Miss Angie for some good family fun fishing and some good times. We fished around for this and that and finally found a good bite that kept us busy for awhile. We had great catch of Flounder, Spot, Croaker, Piggie, Puffer fish, and many more as they reeled them in 2 at a time here and there. We left that hole and headed to another which was a great way to end the trip while we caught nice sized Croakers and Spot. This afternoon I was out with Isaac, Ethan, and James for some great father and son fishing. We had some very windy conditions today but these guys were determined and it paid off for us. We tried a few different spots this afternoon trying to find something some new fish. We caught some some here and there but nothing that told us we should stay to long. We moved around until we eventually found a spot that started putting out some fish for us. We started catching a little bit of everything from Flounder to small Bluefish and everything in between. Today I was out with Ron, Carson, Donovan, Jay, Adam, and Johnathan who where just looking to catch some fish. We moved from spot to spot trying to stay on top of them so the boys could keep hooking up. This afternoon I was out with Max, Steve, and Steve Jr. to enjoy the wonderful wind. We started out trying to catch a few Flounder. We only got one but he was a nice 2 1/2 lber. We eventually left that are and moved on south looking for a better bite. We were able to catch a handful of nice sized Sea Mullet and one spot along with a nice 2lb. Bluefish. Along with those we also had a Speckled Trout in the mix as well. We made the best of the conditions and had a great trip. Thanks guys and look forward to seeing you next time around.

This morning I was out with AJ, Sarah, Jehena, Roger, Sallie, and Bilal for another great family fun fishing trip. The fishing was a little slower this morning than it had been but the temp. has also been raising the water temp. considerably as well. We still were able to catch a little bit of everything as we bounced around from hole to hole. We had Sarah (4) there to help reel everything in as she made her way around the boat quite often. We had Croaker, Spot, Piggies, Flounder, Sea Mullet and so on. We were able to catch a wide variety today which is always good for the kids. Some how I managed to miss out on any of the great photo ops we had, sorry about that guys.

This afternoon I was out with some of my favorite little Princesses Lilli, Emma, Elana,$ophie, Jim, and Paul for a little Rock On Adventure. These are some girlie girls that love to fish and and just have a good time out there. We hit a few different spots before we finally found a good concentration of fish. They were catching them two at a time and one after another. Halfway through the trip they decided that it was time to swim so we found an island and they swam. Little did they know that they would be in Hermit Crab heaven. They had a blast looking through all them trying to decide if they wanted to keep them. Once that wore off it was time to fish again as they picked right back up catching them. Like always girls I had a blast and look forward to fishing with again next year. Hope the Tie dying works out for ya. Thanks Paul and Jim for bringing them out every year.

This morning I was out with Logan, Drew, Neil, Michelle, and Joanne for good old family fun fishing. We had to go check out the Pirates first thing this morning, the only problem was that they were out and about so we had to high tail outta there...LOL We caught a few fish there and then moved on, tried a little Speck fishing but it wasn't happening this morning for us. We only gave it 10 minutes or so and headed out. At out next stop we were catching them 2 at a time over and over. We bounced around from spot to spot catching fish all morning including a nice Speck caught by Grandma. I think she had the first and biggest on the day as well. Hey guys, I had a great time and loved the conversations...lol

This morning I was out with John, Alex, Hank, and Jeff. We fished out of a different ramp today so I wasn't sure how we would do but that was quickly answered for us. We had a nice keeper Speck and a 3lb. Flounder in the boat before 7. It was great way to start the morning off for us. We also had another 4 or 5 Specks and a smaller Flounder in the same spot before we left. The next few stops were not so nice to us so we made a run and kept looking. We continued catching Specks throughout the trip but just no keepers in the mix. We had great weather and a nice overall catch at the end of the day. Thanks guys.

This afternoon I was out with Malcomn, CJ, Beth, and Alaina to put Mr. CJ on some fish. The trip started out a little slow but that was ok as CJ got a few minutes to practice his casting. After that we found some fish and he never stopped catching them after that. He def. had the boat beat on the numbers game, matter of fact he had everyone on the boat added up together beat. He is the man. We caught Flounder, Spot, Croaker, Piggies, Blues,Sea Robbins, Black Sea Bass, Pin fish, Puffer fish, and few more species to go along with them. This morning I was out with Mack and Slater, couldn't convince mom to come out with us. I have had some great Speckled Trout fishing this year but this morning had to be at the top of them as we literally were catching them on every cast. The best part of is that there were very few that were under the 15" limit and that they could care less as we threw them all back to catch another day. That bite lasted for a good 45 minutes and then it slowly slowed down on us. We then moved on but were unable to duplicate the action as the tide started to roll in on us. Man what a morning though, I think Slater may go pro.lol

Today I was supposed to go off shore but mother nature had different plans for us so we fished around the inlet and in the sound all day. The fishing wasn't so hot until the tide flipped and then the bite started to pick up pretty good for us as we were able to catch one really nice Fat Flounder and and plenty of others, just not keepers. We didn't get to go out into the blue but we made the best of it and had a great day.

This afternoon I was out with Miss Ava, Tony, Sarah, and Sharon for some great family fun fishing. You guys had the perfect attitude for today as the wind decided to howl for us. We had an awesome trip as Miss Ava caught fish after fish and ended it with a very nice Polka Dot fish (Speckled Trout). I must throw in there that she had not fished before and the she is only 4 years old. We were able to catch some very nice Croakers, Spot, Pinfish, and Piggies throughout the trip. I must say I was very impressed with the fishing due to the conditions we had to deal with. Thanks for a great afternoon guys and thank you Miss Ava for being such a great little trooper.

This morning I was out with Bob, Vicky, and Mitch looking to catch something good. The wind was howling all night and continued on throughout the day, so that didn't help us a whole lot. We tried catching some Specks early in the trip but that just happening for us as the wind had other ideas. Vicki was able to land one as as the rest of us just watched.lol We went ahead and changed up and went Flounder fishing for the rest of the day. That bite was slow for us as well due to the wind and tide heading in the same direction which had us drifting right at 4mph. We did manage to catch a handful of them but no keepers on the day. This afternoon I was out with Tyler, Charlie Brown, and Jake for some great Speck fishing. This afternoon the Speck bite was on fire. We hit a few spots that were slow but when hit honey hole it was on fire. I have no clue to how many we caught but it was def. up there in the numbers. I would have to say Mr. Charlie had the upper hand today as he seemed to catch them at will until his whittle wrist started hurting him.LOL Guess you can't pass out anymore candy.. We had a really nice Fat Flounder in the mix today as well. We had a great time out there today and caught a lot of fish, now that is a great vacation right there, Thanks guys.

This morning I was out with Sebastian, Cap, and Doug on a absolute slick calm sound looking for the Specks. The bite was a little off this morning but we were still able to catch a nice little batch of them on the day. Sebastian was fish catching machine today as he had it down pat. Today I was out with Josh, Bob, Joey, and Dan for an all day adventure. We surely didn't have the wind on our side today as it was howling. The wind really knocked a lot of prime holes out of the picture today but we keep digging and were able to pull out a pretty good catch of Specks for the day. We also had some Flounder, Croaker, Sea Mullet, and Spot in the mix for the day as well. Thanks for hanging in there today guys even though the wind tried tried to knock us down.

This afternoon I ventured out with Joe, Domenic, Thomas, Frankie, Craig, and Jim for some good old fashion fun. We just went out caught fish after fish. They were biting left and right for us as we were having a competition to see who could hook them the fastest. One of them hooked into something as a few of them fought it for a good 5 minutes or so before it found it's way to freedom. As you can see from the pics we had some great team work going on. This morning I was out with Mac, Ray, and Tim, a few Redfish guys that wanted to catch some Specks so I obliged. We had a great trip as the wind had shifted and the Trout were munching. Today I went out to do a little scouting and fun fishing with some cat from the dock. Na, it's an old high school buddy Mark. We covered alot of water today, some well worth it and some that wasn't so worth it. We found some nice Specks here and there along with a few Blues and a handful of Flounder. The day was a success as we found some good water for the future.

This afternoon I was out with Miss Emily, Max, Gary, Gary, Mark, and Eric and the goal was to get Max the Man hooked up. Again on this trip we were dodging the weather and making the best of what we had. That in return ended up being a great trip as Max was hooked up right off the bat and continued throughout the trip. We had a Princess on the boat so that helped everyone catch fish...lol You guys were great and I really enjoyed fishing with you. Thanks for all the laughs throughout the trip.

I was out this morning with Kathy, Mary, Ian, Jim, and Sean for some family fun fishing. We had to kinda shoot from the hip as we were running from storms all morning. We ended up having a great trip, little wet, but lots of fun as we seemed to catch fish every where we went. I had a great crew aboard as they were up to whatever it took to get to the fish. We ended up with a wide variety of fish ranging from Oyster Toads to Speckled Trout and everything in between. I had great time today guys and hope to see you again next year.

This afternoon the trip was cut short on us as some severe storms came rolling thru town. We did have the chance to land a few Speckled Trout before they set in on us. I'm glad they held off as Brad had a special request of catching one as he had never had the chance to catch one before. We got wet once and tried off but the second time was the game ender as the storms rolled in hot and heavy. This morning I was out with Micheal, Gabriel, Bill, and Bill. We started the trip off looking for some Speckled Trout which was kinda rough on us to start with. We tried a few spots and eventually found a few hanging around a point along with a few nice Croakers. We left there and tried a few other spots before we headed south so little man could show us how to fish. Once he got going it didn't matter where he was, he was hooked up. We had good morning of fishing today as we caught Speckled Trout, a Flounder, Croaker, Puffer fish, Spot, Sea Mullet, Piggies and a few other crazies that were out there today. This morning I was out with an A-list celeb, I called him Beiber, but he tried to tell me his name was Darek. Anyways he had his posse with him, Conner, Samantha, Chris, Allison, and Ron to help him out with the fishing thing. We had a great day out there this morning as they were catching just about everything there was to catch. We had Flounder, Croakers, Spot, Sea Mullet, Trout, and many others that swim in the shallows of OBX. The best part is we had a Blast out there today and caught a ton of fish to go along with it. Once we got everybody set up it was game on for them as we were in the fish from the get go. Great group of fisherman as they were landing them and re baiting to do it again. We had a good as we were catching Flounder, Croakers, Spot, Blues, Puffer fish, Piggies, Sand Perch, and I'm sure I forgot a few others we caught. we had a good time out there today even the wind was trying to do us in. Hope everybody had great 4th of July weekend out there. This morning I was off with Stephanie, Tom, Jennifer, Sammy, Billy, and Annette for some good old fishing and fun. We started of the morning with about a 20lb. Ray that fell for some shrimp by accident. It was a good fight and fun while it lasted. We had a some small Specks here and there but nothing to write home about. We moved on from there and went bottom fishing and started catching Croaker, Puffer fish, Blues, Spot. Piggies and so on. I think we may have a Flounder in there as well for the day. Somehow I didn't get any pics from this trip but I got the memories. You guys were a blast hope to see you again. Thanks

This morning I was out with Jim, Jimmy, Caitlyn, Meghan, and Kathleen for a fun family adventure. We had a blast out there today as the fish were chomping and the rods were staying bent. Once Jimmy figured out the casting thing (He was 8) it was all but over for the fish. Some how or another he put on a clinic for us as he reeled in fish after fish the entire morning. We caught a little bit of everything today from Flounder to Blues and everything in between. The crew had alot of double ups today and kept busy. Thanks guys for a great day on the water.

This morning I was out with an old high school buddy Mike and his family Trent, Mackenzie, Leah, Gabby, and Sammy watching Dolphins play and catching fish. We had the kids with us today ranging from 3 to 12 and had the task of keeping them busy. Luckily I had Mike and buddy to help me out taking all of the fish off. We started of catching some Flounder but the bite was kinda slow for us and the Blow fish were biting left and right so we moved on. As we started moving on we were able to watch the Dolphins play and roll around for 10 minutes or so. That is always something that kids love to see and enjoy. We ended up catching Flounder, Blow fish, Sea Robins, Croakers, Pig fish, Grey Trout, Spot, etc. It was good seeing you guys and look forward to the next time. Thanks

This afternoon I headed out with Andy, Dawn, Josh, and Kaytynd (Princess). I had 3 fisherman and one sunbather today which meant the back half of the boat was off limits to the Princess.LOL We had a blast catching Flounder, Spot, Croaker, Blues, Sea Mullet, Grey Trout, etc. We caught lots of fish and lots of sun today for some of us. This morning I was out with Becca, Aaron, Mason, Christy, and William looking for the Flounder. What a cool group to fish with as I had a real live Smokey The Bear on the boat with me. I had been seeing that bear for 35 years now only to find out he is only about 18. What in the world.LOL.. I thought the bite was going to be on fire but I guess you could say it was barely lit. We started the day off with a nice say Ray which was handed off to a few different people before he was landed. We caught a handful Flounder of them but they just didn't have the size to them that we were looking for. We then headed on another adventure and started looking for other species. This afternoon I was honored to have 4 generations of the See family fishing with me. How cool is that, ages ranging from 87 to 8. This morning I was out with Gracie, Evans, Travis, and Brian for some more family fun fishing. I always ask customers if they want quality or quantity and they choose the numbers game. We put some numbers up on the board today, I couldn't even come close if I had to guess at it. I would say 150 give or take on the morning. They were non-stop on the hooking up today as they caught Flounder, Croaker, Spot, Piggies, and one really nice sized Sea Mullet. The pic really doesn't do it justice as it was a nice fish. This morning I was out Mark and Dave throwing jigs around what ever we could find. The fished seemed to be hanging around the hard cover today as we landed Specks and Flounder throughout the morning. We did some running around here and there but the guys were keyed in on the bite as they caught 1 or 2 at every stop. Today I was out with Scott, Zack, and Sammy casting jigs all day. We caught some nice fish throughout the day including Two nice keeper sized Flounder on the day. It's all ways fun catching the Brownbacks on jigs rather than your everyday Flounder rigs. We also caught our share of Specks on the day as well as we running and gunning. I was out today with Paul, Erica, and Steve casting our arms off. We had awesome day as far as numbers go with the Specks. At times we were catching cast after cast, well the Mayor was that is. We now have a new hole called the Mayor's Hole..LOL Erica was a trooper out there today as she hung right in there with the guys and caught her bunch. This afternoon I went out with Mark, John, Andy, Owen, and Drew. We headed out to do a little bottom fishing for the boys this afternoon and once they figured it out it was on. We caught just about everything out here. We had Croaker, Spot, Flounder, Trout, Sea Mullet, Piggies,etc. The best part of the day is when one of the boys decided he wanted to Trout fish, so he took of his shrimp and put on a D.O.A. Lures soft plastic bait and caught a nice Croaker to end the day with. You can never say never when fishing with the little ones. He was the man and showed me a new little secret. I had my Monday crew back with me today along with a few extras, Steve, and Michelle. We started of catching a few Specks first thing but it was a really slow bite so we moved on so Gabe could show what he had. He is the same fish slayer I had on Monday that was catching Flounder 2 at a time. He caught some fish today but we were unable to repeat the doubles up as the Flounder had moved on. This evening I was out with Josh, Page, Matthew, and Mike trying to see what we could into. We tried to hide from the wind but that seemed nearly impossible for us. This morning I was out on a Fathers day fishing trip. I had Rob, Kim, Katie, and Erin with me and the girls were fearless. They had fished a time or two before and were catching them left and right. We started out catching Specks and then moved on to do some bottom fishing to finish out the day. We caught a little bit of everything throughout the morning from Flounder to Blues and everything in between. Rob kept throwing the jig and caught a handful of Specks through the morning. I awoke this morning to the howling wind and a full day of Speck fishing ahead of me. I met Kevin and Scott at the dock and headed out. We had nothing on our sides except that fact that we were determined to catch fish. The wind continued to build as the day went on but we were able to catch quit a few trout throughout the day. I think we were able to catch a few at almost every stop we made and even a few new spots. Had a great day out there today and glad you guys beat the weather.

This afternoon I had a crew of Professionals aboard the boat which is nice because I can just chill and let them fish. Yeah, these Pros worked me like a dog.LOL I had Barry, Nate, Alex, Andy, Nick, and Jeff along with me today. We went to the Flounder grounds and once we found them we really started catching them. I believe one of the Pros had over ten Flounder for the day along with a Hound Fish as well. We were entertained as well with about a 50. Ray and a nice Skate. The Ray was a good fight as it took two of them to finally get him in. I had a blast out there today with you guys and really appreciate you letting me relax. Today I was out with Ryan, EJ,and BIG Jim on a show and tell trip. The point of the trip was to kind of show them around the area and give a few places to fish while they are in town. After the morning we had I think I may have showed them to much. We had an awesome morning of Speckled Trout fishing catching one after another for a few hours. It was a great morning to be on the water that was for sure. Once I showed them a few spots we headed to the inlet to do a little Flounder fishing. I have fallen behind once again on the reports, sorry about that. The fishing has been getting better and better by the day. We have had some great Trout fishing going on as well as some really nice Flounder starting to show up. I want to thank everyone who has come out and fished this year with me. We have been having some really good trips lately getting some nice catches. The Kid fishing has been phenomenal lately as they have been catching a little bit of everything everywhere we have been fishing.

The fishing season is here and we have started running charters again. I've been out and about on a handful of trips so far this month. The fishing is getting better and better by the day and I have seen an increase in numbers as the days go by. We have been catching a little bit of everything out there depending on what we are fishing for. The Trout bite has been ok, they are making you work for it. The Flounders are starting to come in daily as the numbers seem to be getting better by the day. The bottom fishing is probably the best thing going right now with a little bit of everything biting. This morning I was out with Jeff, Ed, Barry, and Aaron for some Drum and Flounder fishing. We started out with the Pups which killed us. They were every where around but just didn't want to bite. We tried everything we had and knew and it just wasn't the right time. We managed to get hooked up on a handful but only got 1 or 2 in the boat. Every time a top water bait hit the water they would explode on it but just couldn't get hooked up on them. We had a blast just watching the reaction of the fish though. I have to say not to catch them it had to be the best time I've had in awhile just seeing explode every time though. We eventually went looking for some Flounder but just couldn't find the big ones. No pics today as we kept saying the next one would be bigger and eventually there was no next one. LOL Had a blast guys. Thanks

This afternoon I had the pleasure to fish with Heather, Jerry, Renee, and Stephanie. We will stick with those names pending there were many nicknames being thrown around. LOL We had a great afternoon on the water catching nice Puppy Drum and Flounder. We started out with the Pups for a few hours catching a good handful of them that were a decent size as well. It always helps too when Na Na throws yours rod in the water to. It was all good. The Drum bite eventually died of for us so we went Flounder fishing which turned out quite well as we had three nice keepers at the end of the day. We started the morning out looking for the Specks which we found but they just had no size to them. We caught a few here and there but nothing to Specktacular. After looking and looking for the trout we moved on to the Flounder which were just a difficult to find that morning. We did manage get one nice keeper out of them though. This morning I was out with Dwayne and Mike for some good father son time, what better way than to go fishing. We had a great day on the water as the weather was wonderful and the fish were willing to bite for us as well. We started the morning out doing a little Speck fishing but that was kinda slow as we only had one so we moved on down the sound a bit. As we worked our way down we stopped here and there but didn't have any luck so we went Flounder fishing and that didn't work out either so we went Drum fishing and that worked for us. We no sooner got the lines in the water and started catching them, rather I say Mike did as he put on the clinic for us. The bite lasted for about 45 minutes to an hour and we ended with 12 nice Puppy Drum and a nice keeper Flounder to throw in the mix as well. I had a blast guys, you kept me busy. Thanks

This afternoon I was out with Steve, Warren, Jeff, Megan, and Sara doing a little Speck and Flounder fishing. We started out with the Specks while we waited for the tide to turn for us. It paid off as we caught some very nice Speckled Trout along with a lot of small ones which was cool because the girls were catching them left and right. Once the tide changed we moved on and started catching Flounder one after another with a few nice keepers in the mix. The fishing was great, the weather was great and so was the company. These little girls were proof that anybody can fish. They had no idea how to cast and within 30 minutes they needed no help and were casting a good 20' to 30' by themselves and catching fish. By the end of the trip the little princesses were even trying to take the hooks outs as well. I had a blast and really enjoyed having you guys. Good luck up there in Div. 3 Jeff, just stay dead on..LOL

This morning I was out with Sean, Adam, Tom, Rich, and Chad on a beautiful morning to do a little Flounder fishing. The conditions were to good to pass up on some Trout fishing so we started off with that. The first stop we made we were able to catch a few with a keeper in the mix. The bite was not what I was looking for sow e moved on for the Flounder. We fished hard and fished a lot spots to come up with nothing on the Flounder. This afternoon I was out with Steve, Joe, Todd, and Bob for some good Speckled trout action. The bite was come and go as there was times with no bites and times with double hook ups. We started the day off right with a beautiful 20" Speck right off the back and and few right behind it including another nice 18" one. We moved around caught some here and there as we dodged the storms. As well as the Specks we some nice Flounder in the mix as well for the afternoon. All the fish we caught were hooked using jigs and artificial baits. As well the guys only kept two Specks to try them out and threw the rest back to live another day and get bigger. I was off this morning with Ethan, Charles, Melanie, Aaron, and Jeremy for nice day of fun and fishing. We started out Flounder fishing but the bite just wasn't there like we were looking for. We caught a few short fish here and there but just not that hot of fishing. We switched up and went looking for some Specks here and there while dodging the thunderstorms as well. The Speck bite just wasn't happening either for us. We caught some just not the biggest out there. Ethan had some nice Croaker while throwing the jig around so that helped the cause for us. This morning I was out with Jerrod and Mr. Barbershop man for a little Speck action. The bite was there and the fish were a nice class to be catching. We threw jigs all morning catching a nice bag of fish that got to swim another day. They all went back into the drink to get bigger for another day of great fishing here on the Outer Banks. We ended the day with all fish being over 16" with one that was 14 1/2". Overall it was great day on the water. Thanks guys for fishing hard, had a blast out there today.

It was a very slow day of fishing for us as we only mustard up one nice Speck and two Flounder for the day. The guys fished hard but the fish had different ideas than we did. We still had a good time and fished hard. Thanks guys

This morning I was out with Jimmy, Niki, Matt, Bob, Mark, and Mark Jr. for Flounder fishing. This a group of friends of mine from back in the day so I thought I could use them to fish some new water to start the morning off with. It didn't work out so well so we moved on to what i know works and it was still slow fishing for us. We had no keepers on the day. I'm not sure how many Flounders we caught, I know everybody caught some though. It was great seeing you guys again and will see ya at Christmas. Thanks guys and girls..

This afternoon I was out with Jared, Evan, Tyler, Demitri, Zack, and Jeff looking for some Flounder as well as we did this morning. We had about the same luck as we caught 20 or so fish among everyone with one nice keeper for the day. Thanks guys
