This morning I headed out with Chris and Logan for a little father and son fishing.  We started off with a bang catching 2 Specks right off the bat getting one to the boat and losing the other.  It was great way to start the morning off though.  We continued fishing without a bite one and decided to make a move and it paid off for us.  The bite was lite and you had to work for them, they weren't coming that easy.  Mr. Logan had some kind of secret as he would chill for a few minutes, pick up the rod and Bam, Fish on.  He was the man this morning.  We had great trip catching 12 nice Specks all over 16" with only one under.  Today was all catch and release for us so those nice fish are still out and about.  Thanks guys, had a blast.

July 28, 2010 Eve.

This evening I was out with Eric and his family Rachel, Jenna, and Orion.  The wind really started howing right before we got started which kind of limited our fishing but that was o.k. because I had some troopers on board with me.  We kinda did a mix fishing trip as some fished for Specks and some bottom fished for whatever wanted to bite for us.  The Speck bite wasn't happening they great for us as the water was muddy and rolling.  We didn't give up though as Eric finally prevailed and landed a nice 16" Speck at the end of the trip.  I didn't count but I am pretty sure Jenna caught the most fish  for the evening as she was a fishing machine.  She started the evening off with a nice little Puppy Drum and never stopped.  I had a blast guys and hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.  Thanks

This afternoon I headed out with the Birthday Girl  herself Miss Vicki and her wonderful family.  We had great afternoon on the water to go out fun fishing.  Once we got everyone situated and fishing we started catching.  We didn't catch the biggest fish that were out there but caught plenty of them and plenty of different species to go along with it.  We had keep our eyes on momma as she became a Pro very quickly which was handy for me because she then was able to instruct the rest of the crew on how to fish. LOL  You guys were a great crew.  It was cool to see the teamwork between the sisters taking the hook out of one fish.  Hope you guys enjoyed yourselves and had great evening later.  I just had to post the pic of Alexandra after her dip in the water, I guess she was getting hot out there.  Thanks guys

July 27, 2010 PM

This afternoon I headed out with good ole Bill, Trey, Casandra, and Miss Alyssia for a little fun fishing.  This trip was all for the younging and did she ever have a blast.  We went bottom fishing and caught just about everything out there.  I don't think she could have found a different species if she had too.  We had a ball out there today and to finish it off we got some up close and personal time with the Dolphins as they swam and played next to the boat for us.  Had a great time out there today and will see ya next week Mr. Bean.

July 28,2010 AM

This morning I headed out with Brayden (SPIKE), Chuck, Larry, and DD for some nice Speckled Trout action.  We started the morning off with some nice Speck fishing along the shore lines and points and then moved on to some deep water holes they like to hang out in.  I think we had 12 Specks with 4 nice keepers for the morning.   By 10 O'clock or so they slowed down on us so we then changed gears and started catching some nice sized Sea Mullet to finish out the day.  We had a great trip and caught some nice fish.  Had a blast guys, I'll make sure Sean sees how we catch over here. LOL  Thanks guys

July 27, 2010

I had Rob and his crew out today trying catch some Trout, Flounder, and Drum.  The weather was beautiful and we had all the fixings for a great day of fishing but it didn't happen that way.  We must have hit 15 different spots that usually produce nice fish but it just wasn't happening.  We  ended the day with 4Flounder, 1 Drum, and 1 Speckled Trout.  The numbers sure don't represent how hard we fished that is for sure.  Had a good time anyways.  Thanks Guys

July 23, 2010 AM

This morning I was out with Mike, Joe, Mike, and Jared for a little jig action.  We had a pretty good day out there just running around fishing whatever looked good to us.  We had some nice Speckled Trout and Striper for the day along with some Croaker and Spots thrown in the mix.  Hopefully the Newb' will admit he got out fished today. LOL  Had great time guys, see ya next year.

July 22, 2010 PM

This afternoon I was out with Jim, Paul, Sophie, Emma, Elena, and Lilli for a wonderful fishing experience with with some fish catching machines.  Once we got to our spot they couldn't wait to get fishing and show us guys how to do it.  Once they got a few instructions on how to cast they were ready to rock.  It was none stop action from both ends of the boat, with all rods bent over on almost every cast.  By the end of the trip they hand landed Flounder, Croaker, Spot, Sea Mullet, Sea Robins, Puffer fish, Sea Bass, White Perch, Pigfish, and yeah, I can't remember them all.  I think that is the majority of their catch.  The trip was focused on teaching them how to fish and catch as many species as we could for the learning experience.  I think we accomplished all of the above pending by the end of the trip they knew how to cast, set the hook,  and bait their own hooks.
To top off their afternoon we were lucky enough to find a school of about 20 Dolphin that stayed next to the boat and played with the girls as they hooted and giggled away at them.  It was very exciting time for them as the Dolphin stayed at an arms reach away.  Thanks guys and girls, hope you had fun...

July 22, 2010 AM

I couldn't wait to get out this morning with Sergio, Steve, and James to do some Speck fishing knowing the weather was goin to be nice for a change.  We started out fishing some shoreline losing one halfway to the boat and eventually picking one up that was 16".  We then ran, ran, and ran looking but had no takers.  Just a rough morning of fishing for us in that department.  I sure was glad to have Steve on the boat to save the day by catching some nice Croakers ti munch on later.  Thanks guys

July 21, 2010 PM

This afternoon I had Kady(Know it all),DJ(Screech), Danny, and Sweet Mom Amanda with me.  What a crew it was, you just have to met Kady.  We had great time on the water catching a little bit of everything there was to offer.  We had a nice 14" Sea Mullet and a keeper Flounder to go along with the rest of them.  Thanks alot guys and girls, I had a great time and I hope Kady was able to explain the clouds to ya on the ride home.  LOL  Thanks

July 21, 2010

I hit the water early this morning with Joeseph, Buck, Bob,and Kenny trying to get a morning bite which never really happened.  We had some good hits but no hook ups, just 2 little short Specks.  We moved around some and made a few runs to here and there which ended up paying off for us.  We eventually ended up with 10 Speckled Trout with 4 of them being keepers.  For the weather we have been having lately I felt like we had good day on the water hope that the bite just continues to improve like it has over the last few weeks.  I had a blast guys.  Thanks

July 20th, 2010

I set out this morning with Wade and his crew to catch whatever we could.  Had 4 youngings on the boat ready to catch fish.  We had the wind which has just become normal any more around here so that was no big deal.  I'm not quit sure who won the battle between the boys and girls but I did here they all had over 30 fish each for the morning so that was cool.  We caught a little bit of everything for the morning.  I had a blast was glad I had some helpers on the boat to pull at the anchor for me.  Thanks guys.

July 19th, 2010 AM

This morning I was out with David, Denver, and Scout trying our best to find some Specks and Drum.  The wind was right out blasting us all morning making it a little tough to fish but we hung in there.  We tried many places throughout the morning which ended up landing us 2 small Puppy Drum and 2 Specks with one being a good 2 1/2 to 3lber.  It was was a tough morning of fishing but still had a blast and enjoyed the company guys.  Thanks

July 16th, 2010 PM

This afternoon I had Ryan, John, Amanda, and Aidan all the way Los Angeles, Ca. to do little East Coast fishing with the family.  They def. know how to start the trip off by bringing the Capt. a nice fat Bacon Cheeseburger from Five Guys with fries.  Once we ate we headed out into the wind and a little rough water but that didn't stop us as we pounded it through it.  We started of fishing for some Specks but they had different thoughts as we never got a nibble so we moved on.  As we moved here and there we caught a  variety of different fish that the Outer Banks has to offer.  Throughout the the day we caught Croaker, Sea Bass, Sea Mullet, Blue fish, Spot, Pigfish, and whatever else wanted to nibble.  We had an absolute blast out there today and it was cool to see Amanda catch her first fish and I think she even made $50 or $60 bucks off the trip as well. LOL  She was finding every way there was to win something, she have the most though.  Had a blast guys, have a safe trip home.

July 16th, 2010 AM

This morning I headed out with Gobbler, Henry, and Ryan for some Speckled Trout fishing and a lot of talking.  We started out the morning kinda slow but it picked up for us and ended up being a great day  for the Trout.  We fished a handful of different spots picking at the here and there and eventually catching 20 nice fat Specks keeping 5.  Had a  blast out there today guys and am sure I will run into you at the track some time this season.  Good luck with the kart Ryan.   See you guys this fall.  Thanks

July 16th, 2010 AM

This morning I headed out with Christian, Ronnie, Ryan, Giovanni, and Joe for fun filled day of fishing.  We started the morning out Speckled Trout fishing was able to get one nice keeper out of it.  We then headed out for some Flounder which we caught the heck out of but had no keepers for the day.  We caught a little bit of everything throughout the morning including Trout, Flounder, Blues, Croaker, Sea Mullet, Spot, and Shark which keep us busy.  Had a great trip today and really enjoyed fishing with you guys.  Thanks

July 14th, 2010 PM

This afternoon I had Rob, Ray Ray, Dr. Beez, and Sal with me to do a little Trout fishing.  A little pretty much sums it up as we only had two for the trip.  Unfortunately the strong south wind and I just couldn't seem to meet eye to eye.  Everywhere I wanted to go so did the wind.  We still had a blast out there, had some waves to ride and I had The Fishing Pros with me, what more could I ask for.  See you guys next year along with the little ones.  Thanks

July 14th, 2010 a.m.

Headed out this morning with Renee, Dave, Michelle, Tom, Alexis, and Caitlynn for what we thought was going to be a nice little fishing excursion that turned into an adventure.  We started off catching Flounder, Sea Mullet, and Spot before we moved on and started catching a  little bit of everything until mother nature took over.  We had to run for cover trying to beat a storm which we did but the wind and temp drop got to us quick.  Once the storm passed on through we went on to finish the day out closer to the dock catching Croakers cast after cast for the rest of the day.  Had a blast guys, thanks for the sandwich, it was a change of pace from the old PB&J. LOL

July 13th, 2010

I headed out today with Jim, Chuck, Spencer, Tiffany, and Nick for an all day adventure.  I will have to say adventure is a good name for it.  The wind has been blowing pretty good around here lately and today was no different.  We had a great day on the water catching just about everything there is to catch.  I left my camera at home so I don't have any pics to show but I know we had a great time out there and caught a lot of fish for the day.  Had a great time guys and will see ya next year. Thanks

July 7th, 2010

Today I was out with Dave, Kris, and Bret for a little Trout, Flounder, Drum, and Striper action.  We didn't exactly set the world on fire but we did manage to catch a wide variety of fish while throwing jigs.   The fishing was a little slower than I anticipated but we seemed to pick some up everywhere we stopped so I guess that isn't so bad.  We did manage to get another Inshore Slam for the year which was way cool.  I think we had 10  or so Speckled Trout, 3 Puppy Drum, 1 Striper, a few Flounder, and some nice Croakers for the day.  The Croaker were an extra you could say as they seemed to like the jigs today as well.  I know we had a blast out there today and I look forward to fishing with you guys and hearing the stories again next year. This is Capt., Marc, Mike, Greg, Coach, Boss, and whatever else you called me signing off.  LOL

July 6th, 2010

I was out this morning with Andy, Daryl, Nicholas, Dave, Nate, and Doug for a little Speckled Trout and Flounder fishing.  Kinda had the wind going against this morning but we managed to pull off an Inshore Slam for the day.  The Drum wasn't quite big enough to keep but the Flounder and a handful of the Specks were.  I think for the day we had 10 or so Specks with a few of them being a little nicer than what we have been catching lately.  The fishing was a little slow today but the quality and camaraderie made up for it.  We had a blast out there today.  Thanks guys and hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation.

July 4th, 2010

Today I had the pleasure to fish with the Iseki family from Md.. We had absolute gorgeous weather to be fishing in and celebrating the 4th on.  Ken, Saya, Naoko, and Kazumi were all ready for the challenge.  We started the day off  looking for Flounder but that was very slow going but very entertaining as we had 30 or so Dolphin playing and jumping around for a good hour or so.  We eventually moved on and tried a few more locations before settling down with some bottom fishing.  We needed to get some fish in the boat to keep the kids busy.  Ken (5) and Saya (3) both caught their fair share of very nice sized Sea Mullet and a few puffer fish along the way.  Mom and dad were doing pretty good themselves as they were keeping me busy. I had a blast guys and hope you enjoyed the Outer Banks.  Thanks

7-1-10 evening

I had an evening trip today with Chris, Mike, Tess, Peyton, AJ, and (BIG SHOW) Aaron from Pa..  We had great weather compared to the last week we have had.  We headed straight to Flounder to get the trip going but on the way there we were able to stop a few times and watch the Porpoises jump around and play for a little while.  That is one of the many extras that comes along with the fishing on the Outer Banks anytime of the day.  Once we finally got the lines in the water we started catching fish.  Everyone caught Flounder for the evening but Mr. AJ, who is only 9 years old put it on them.  After he set the hook I think he realized he had something really nice on the other end as it turned out to be a 22 1/2" Flounder.  He holds the record for this season for the boat.  We have caught many flounder between 15" and 19" but his by far beats them all.  I had a blast guys, it surely was an adventure.  Hope you guys enjoyed the pizza. LOL

7-1-10

This morning I had the crew of Chris, Sean, Nick and Bob with me for a little bit of Flounder fishing.  We hit a few spots here and there until we finally found them.  We had a pretty good bite going on for awhile as we caught 10 Flounder with three nice keepers for the day.  The little man Sean seemed to have the knack of catching for the day as he had a variety of fish for the day including a few nice Sea Mullet in the mix for him.  Thanks guys, had fun out there today.
