Some nice Stripers have finally started to show up down here.  I have been out twice in the last week and caught a limit of nice fish both trips out.  If your looking for a way out there and to get hooked up on some nice sized Stripers give me a call and let's get fishing.

Sept. 15, 2010

 This morning I was out with Jeff, Ed, Barry, and Aaron for some Drum and Flounder fishing.  We started out with the Pups which killed us.  They were every where around but just didn't want to bite.  We tried everything we had and knew and it just wasn't the right time.  We managed to get hooked up on a handful but only got 1 or 2 in the boat.  Every time a top water bait hit the water they would explode on it but just couldn't get hooked up on them.  We had a blast just watching the reaction of the fish though.  I have to say not to catch them it had to be the best time I've had in awhile just seeing explode every time though.  We eventually went looking for some Flounder but just couldn't find the big ones.  No pics today as we kept saying the next one would be bigger and eventually there was no next one. LOL  Had a blast guys.  Thanks

 This afternoon I had the pleasure to fish with Heather, Jerry, Renee, and Stephanie.  We will stick with those names pending there were many nicknames being thrown around. LOL  We had a great afternoon on the water catching nice Puppy Drum and Flounder.  We started out with  the Pups for a few hours catching a good handful of them that were a decent size as well.  It always helps too when Na Na throws yours rod in the water to.  It was all good.  The Drum bite eventually died of for us so we went Flounder fishing which turned out quite well as we had three nice keepers at the end of the day.  I had a blast guys and hope you enjoyed the rest your vacation.  Thanks

 This morning I was out with Bob, Bob, Jim, Nick, Jay, and Alex looking for some Specks and Flounder.  We started the morning out looking for the Specks which we found but they just had no size to them.  We caught a few here and there but nothing to Specktacular.  After looking and looking for the trout we moved on to the Flounder which were just a difficult to find that morning.  We did manage get one nice keeper out of them though.  Had a great time guys and it was good seeing you again.  Thanks

This morning I was out with Dwayne and Mike for some good father son time, what better way than to go fishing.  We had a great day on the water as the weather was wonderful and the fish were willing to bite for us as well.  We started the morning out doing a little Speck fishing but that was kinda slow as we only had one so we moved on down the sound a bit.  As we worked our way down we stopped here and there but didn't have any luck so we went Flounder fishing and that didn't work out either so we went Drum fishing and that worked for us.  We no sooner got the lines in the water and started catching them, rather I say Mike did as he put on the clinic for us.  The bite lasted for about 45 minutes to an hour and we ended with 12 nice Puppy Drum and a nice keeper Flounder to throw in the mix as well.  I had a blast guys, you kept me busy.  Thanks

August 31, 2010 PM

 This afternoon I was out with Steve, Warren, Jeff, Megan, and Sara doing a little Speck and Flounder fishing.  We started out with the Specks while we waited for the tide to turn for us.  It paid off as we caught some very nice Speckled Trout along with a lot of small ones which was cool because the girls were catching them left and right.  Once the tide changed we moved on and started catching Flounder one after another with a few nice keepers in the mix.  The fishing was great, the weather was great and so was the company.  These little girls were proof that anybody can fish.  They had no idea how to cast and within 30 minutes they needed no help and were casting a good 20' to 30' by themselves and catching fish.  By the end of the trip the little princesses were even trying to take the hooks outs as well.  I had a blast and really enjoyed having you guys.  Good luck up there in Div. 3 Jeff, just stay dead on..LOL

 This morning I was out with Sean, Adam, Tom, Rich, and Chad on a beautiful morning to do a little Flounder fishing.  The conditions were to good to pass up on some Trout fishing so we started off with that.  The first stop we made  we were able to catch a few with a keeper in the mix.  The bite was not what I was looking for sow e moved on for the Flounder.  We fished hard and fished a lot spots to come up with nothing on the Flounder.  We eventually moved on and started catching Sea Mullet to finish the day off.  Had a great time guys.  This afternoon I was out with Steve, Joe, Todd, and Bob for some good Speckled trout action.  The bite was come and go as there was times with no bites and times with double hook ups.  We started the day off right with a beautiful 20" Speck right off the back and and few right behind it including another nice 18" one.  We moved around caught some here and there as we dodged the storms.  As well as the Specks we some nice Flounder in the mix as well for the afternoon.  All the fish we caught were hooked using jigs and artificial baits.  As well the guys only kept two Specks to try them out and threw the rest back to live another day and get bigger.  Thanks coming out today guys, had a great time.

 This afternoon I was out with Justin, Rick, and Zach doing a little Speck and Flounder hunting.  We covered alot of ground this evening fishing a little different than I usually do and it paid off for us as we had Flounder, Trout, and Puppy Drum for the evening.  The guys did  a great job out there even though the bite was tough.  Had a blast fishing and taking jabs at ya, it was to easy not to. August 25, 2010 AM

 I was off this morning with Ethan, Charles, Melanie, Aaron, and Jeremy for nice day of fun and fishing.  We started out Flounder fishing but the bite just wasn't there like we were looking for.  We caught a few short fish here and there but just not that hot of fishing.  We switched up and went looking for some Specks here and there while dodging the thunderstorms as well.  The Speck bite just wasn't happening either for us.  We caught some just not the biggest out there.  Ethan had some nice Croaker while throwing the jig around so that helped the cause for us.  Had a blast guys and I hope everything goes great witht the new addition to the family.  Thanks guys.

  This morning I was out with Jerrod and Mr. Barbershop man for a little Speck action.  The bite was there and the fish were a nice class to be catching.  We threw jigs all morning catching a nice bag of fish that got to swim another day.  They all went back into the drink to get bigger for another day of great fishing here on the Outer Banks.  We ended the day with all fish being over 16" with one that was 14 1/2".  Overall it was great day on the water.  Thanks guys for fishing hard, had a blast out there today.

This afternoon I was out with Skip, Greg, George, George, Rick, and Rick.  At least the names were easy to remember today. LOL  We had a blast out on the water today as the weather was wonderful and so was the company.  We caught a little bit of everything today but Flounder was the main objective.  We drifted a few good spots and got a lot of bites but they were on the small size so we opted to run to another spot with no avail.  We then returned to the original location to find that the bite was over.  We scrounged around for a few more bites and some keepers.  had a blast out there today.  I was out today with Billy, Vinny, and Tommy for some Trout and Flounder action.  The fishing was slow for us but we pulled through with a handful of fish.  Couldn't have asked for a nicer day on the water, just wish the fish had the same idea as us.  We had great time and it sure beats working.  I had a blast guys, thanks again.

I was out this morning with Pearly, Kevin, Will, and Rick for some jig action.  We started the morning off Speck fishing which was a little slow for us.  We pecked around and pecked around and came up with 5 of them for the day.  After that we went looking for something different and ended up finding a nice school of blues chomping their way through some bait so we started catching them as well.  Rick even got tug on a nice size Ray for awhile before headed in.  Thanks guys had a blast and Miss Pearl I hope you enjoyed your first fishing adventure...

 This morning I was out Lucas, Roy, Allen, and Marty for some jig action.  We fished for Specks and Flounder back and forth throughout the morning.  It was a very slow day of fishing for us as we only mustard up one nice Speck and two Flounder for the day.  The guys fished hard but the fish had different ideas than we did.  We still had a good time and fished hard.  Thanks guys

 This morning I was out with Jimmy, Niki, Matt, Bob, Mark, and Mark Jr. for Flounder fishing.  This a group of friends of mine from back in the day so I thought I could use them to fish some new water to start the morning off with.  It didn't work out so well so we moved on to what i know works and it was still slow fishing for us.  We had no keepers on the day.  I'm not sure how many Flounders we caught, I know everybody caught some though.  It was great seeing you guys again and will see ya at Christmas.  Thanks guys and girls..

 This morning I was out with Sarah, Kelton, Margaret, and Chase looking for some Flounder action.  The fishing started out pretty slow but picked up as the day went a long.  We fished quite a few spots trying to find the hot spot but they all seemed to fish the same for us.  I think we 15 or so for the day with one nice keeper.  We also caught something that I'm not sure what it was.  I have not been able to find anyone who seems to know either.  If you know give me a call or an email.  We had a great day to be on the water and I had some great company.  Thanks guys

 This afternoon I was out with Tom, Julie, Nancy, Brittni, and Seth for some chillaxin and very little fishing.  What a crew, just wanted to go for a boat ride, sunbath, eat lunch and chill,  I'll take it.  We fished here and there and caught 4 or 5 Flounder and and a hand full of Croaker to finish the evening out.  I had a blast guys, thanks for a relaxing afternoon.  If your Happy, I'm Happy.  LOL

This morning I was out with Brian, Brian, and Anthony looking for some Specks and Flounder.  The Speck bite was slow for us this morning catching one throw back and losing one nice one half way tot he boat.  We then went Flounder fishing with the jigs and had pretty good luck.  These guys put in their dues casting and it paid off for them.  I think we had 5 or 6 Flounder with 2 nice keepers with one being 20" long to top the day.  Throwing jigs for the Flounder is a blast as it is a totally different hit than when drifting for them.  Thanks guys, hope you enjoyed dinner..

 This afternoon I was out with Jim and Ryan for a little father son fishing trip.  These two guys had two great attitudes about having fun and relaxing while on vacation.  The weather wasn't the best for us but still had a blast and caught some fish for the afternoon.  We tried for some Specks early with no luck so we moved on to the Flounder.  We worked a few different spots here and there and came up with 4 or 5 but had no keepers in the mix.  The wind continued picking up so we went looking for some shelter and found some nice sized Croaker to finish up the afternoon.  Thanks guys and hope you enjoyed the Outer Banks.

 This morning I was out with Kameron, Jessica, John, Mark, Tony, and Robert looking for some Specks.  They didn't have favorable conditions but they prevailed.  The wind was hammering all the good Speck holes so we looked and looked until we found some.  After a long morning of fishing we lost a few and got one nice one to the boat.  Along with the Speck we plenty of Croakers to go with the mix.  Thanks guys and good luck in your tournaments.  Thanks

This afternoon I was out with Lisa, John, Jimmy,Jack, Sam, and Brian.  This trip started out for the little ones until they decided to chill and then it turned into a trip for the parents.  We started off catching a little bit of everything out there from Spot, Pigfish all the way to Flounder and Grey Trout.  The boys knew how to catch as long as the Capt. kept them on them.  I'm not sure what the numbers were but they were up there.  I think they had 4 Flounder to throw in the mix as well.  We later looked for some bigger fish and found them as well.  We caught some really nice sized Sea Mullet to finish the day off along with Lisa's wonderful Blow fish. LOL  We had a great time out there today and I really enjoyed fishing with you guys and some old memories.  I need some Old Carolina BBQ now.  Thanks guys.

I was out this morning with Josh, Jeff, Larry, and Tom for a wonderful Father's day gift.  We had great weather and the right tide to do a little Flounder fishing.  Things couldn't go any better for us as we started catching them on the first cast and continued on with it.  The bite was really strong until the tide started to fall out and so did the  bite.  We were able to land 20 or so fish with a sweet 20" Flounder in the mix.  What better person to catch then the Father who the trip was for.  I had a great time guys and really appreciate the ham and ketchup sandwiches.  Thanks

I had  Tim, Pat, and Al out with me today for a little adventure and fishing.  We headed out  looking for Flounder and we found them hiding in about 20 ft. of water.  We had a nice catch of them as we pulled in 25 or so with a few nice keepers for the guys to munch on later.  I had a blast out there today and really appreciate you guys going the extra mile for me.  This morning I headed out with Chris and Logan for a little father and son fishing.  We started off with a bang catching 2 Specks right off the bat getting one to the boat and losing the other.  It was great way to start the morning off though.  We continued fishing without a bite one and decided to make a move and it paid off for us.  The bite was lite and you had to work for them, they weren't coming that easy.  Mr. Logan had some kind of secret as he would chill for a few minutes, pick up the rod and Bam, Fish on.  He was the man this morning.  We had great trip catching 12 nice Specks all over 16" with only one under.  Today was all catch and release for us so those nice fish are still out and about.  Thanks guys, had a blast.

July 28, 2010 Eve.

This evening I was out with Eric and his family Rachel, Jenna, and Orion.  The wind really started howing right before we got started which kind of limited our fishing but that was o.k. because I had some troopers on board with me.  We kinda did a mix fishing trip as some fished for Specks and some bottom fished for whatever wanted to bite for us.  The Speck bite wasn't happening they great for us as the water was muddy and rolling.  We didn't give up though as Eric finally prevailed and landed a nice 16" Speck at the end of the trip.  I didn't count but I am pretty sure Jenna caught the most fish  for the evening as she was a fishing machine.  She started the evening off with a nice little Puppy Drum and never stopped.  I had a blast guys and hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.  Thanks

This afternoon I headed out with the Birthday Girl  herself Miss Vicki and her wonderful family.  We had great afternoon on the water to go out fun fishing.  Once we got everyone situated and fishing we started catching.  We didn't catch the biggest fish that were out there but caught plenty of them and plenty of different species to go along with it.  We had keep our eyes on momma as she became a Pro very quickly which was handy for me because she then was able to instruct the rest of the crew on how to fish. LOL  You guys were a great crew.  It was cool to see the teamwork between the sisters taking the hook out of one fish.  Hope you guys enjoyed yourselves and had great evening later.  I just had to post the pic of Alexandra after her dip in the water, I guess she was getting hot out there.  Thanks guys

This afternoon I headed out with good ole Bill, Trey, Casandra, and Miss Alyssia for a little fun fishing.  This trip was all for the younging and did she ever have a blast.  We went bottom fishing and caught just about everything out there.  I don't think she could have found a different species if she had too.  We had a ball out there today and to finish it off we got some up close and personal time with the Dolphins as they swam and played next to the boat for us.  Had a great time out there today and will see ya next week Mr. Bean.

 This morning I headed out with Brayden (SPIKE), Chuck, Larry, and DD for some nice Speckled Trout action.  We started the morning off with some nice Speck fishing along the shore lines and points and then moved on to some deep water holes they like to hang out in.  I think we had 12 Specks with 4 nice keepers for the morning.   By 10 O'clock or so they slowed down on us so we then changed gears and started catching some nice sized Sea Mullet to finish out the day.  We had a great trip and caught some nice fish.  Had a blast guys, I'll make sure Sean sees how we catch over here. I had Rob and his crew out today trying catch some Trout, Flounder, and Drum.  The weather was beautiful and we had all the fixings for a great day of fishing but it didn't happen that way.  We must have hit 15 different spots that usually produce nice fish but it just wasn't happening.  We  ended the day with 4Flounder, 1 Drum, and 1 Speckled Trout.  The numbers sure don't represent how hard we fished that is for sure.  Had a good time anyways.  Thanks Guys

This morning I was out with Mike, Joe, Mike, and Jared for a little jig action.  We had a pretty good day out there just running around fishing whatever looked good to us.  We had some nice Speckled Trout and Striper for the day along with some Croaker and Spots thrown in the mix.  Hopefully the Newb' will admit he got out fished today. LOL  Had great time guys, see ya next year.
